With a wealth of experience in the environment industry, we established Kanopi in 2020 as a response to the slow pace of action in the fight against climate change. We realised that something needs to be done to accelerate change at scale before it is too late.
Our mission
Businesses are getting better every day at setting and meeting their impact reduction goals, but there is still some difficulty in joining the dots up and down the supply chain. In answer to this challenge, Kanopi is designed to be rolled out by larger businesses and organisations with complex stakeholder and supply chain networks.
Our purpose is to work closely with Kanopi customers to achieve outcomes that make a measurable and meaningful difference to protecting and preserving the planet.
Our vision
According to HRH Prince Charles’ Business in the Community (BITC) Business Tracker Report 2020 “Despite the net-zero transition being second only behind health and wellbeing on businesses’ priorities, only 29% had developed targets aligned with climate science and the net-zero transition.”
Rather than focusing on one business at a time, we want to enable collective action united by working from the top down - supporting businesses with large stakeholder and supplier networks to coordinate mass action.
